Spiritual Sampler was born from two great loves: wine and spirituality.

Founder Julia Djeke spent years developing her yoga practice, which introduced her to a world of spiritual modalities. She explored each of them, all while deepening her appreciation of wine. (Those years saw a healthy rotation of crystals, cards, and wine bottles at the kitchen table.)

Since those days, Julia continues to sample. She spends hours researching and practicing, partly through enjoyment and partly for a pointed purpose: to translate the serious into something that’s fun.

Borrowing inspiration from Wine Folly, Julia has set out to apply its formula: Take something esoteric and make it accessible; make it easy; make it fun. When you do that, spirituality’s not serious—it’s just a great adventure.
